Joining Foundry Bedford is straightforward. Three steps stand between you and the best training community in Bedford.
Starting something new can feel daunting — especially when you're not sure what to expect or whether you'll fit in.
So let's make this simple.
Foundry Bedford is a coached functional fitness facility. That means every session is led by a qualified coach, every workout is scalable to your level, and every new member goes through the same starting point — regardless of background, fitness level, or experience.
Here's exactly how it works.
Browse our membership options and find the one that fits your schedule and goals. Whether you're looking to train multiple times a week or want the flexibility of open gym access, there's a tier built for you.
View Membership & PricingBefore joining the regular timetable, every new member completes our Foundations Lab — a 3-hour onboarding session that sets you up for everything that follows.
This isn't a fitness test. It's your introduction to how we move, how we coach, and how Foundry works. You'll leave knowing the fundamental movements, understanding how sessions are structured, and — most importantly — feeling like you belong here.
Find out what Foundations Lab involvesOnce Foundations Lab is complete, you're in. Full access to the timetable, the community, and everything Foundry Bedford has to offer. Your first coached class won't feel like the first day of school — it'll feel like a return.
We ask every new member to complete Foundations Lab because we believe the way you start matters.
Jumping straight into group classes without the right foundations is how people get injured, feel lost, and quietly stop showing up. We've seen it happen at other gyms. It won't happen here.
Foundations Lab means your first class is confident, not anxious. It means your coach already knows your name and your starting point. It means you're set up to progress from day one — not just survive the session.
It's one of the things that makes Foundry different. And members tell us it's one of the best decisions they made.
The first month is about building confidence and consistency. Your coaches will be watching your progress, answering your questions, and making sure you're on the right track.
No. Foundations Lab and all group classes are fully scalable. We meet you where you are and build from there.
Yes. It's a short investment that helps us understand your movement, your history, and your goals. It also means your coaches can programme and coach you more effectively from the start.
Comfortable training kit, a pair of training shoes (not running shoes if you can help it), a water bottle, and a willingness to work. That's it.
For most new members, 3 sessions a week is a solid starting point. Your coaches will help you find the right balance as you settle in.
Tell us before you book. Our coaches are experienced in working around limitations and will make sure your programme is appropriate from day one.
The next step is simple. Browse our memberships, pick the one that's right for you, and book your Foundations Lab. We'll take care of everything else.
